A combined method for gas-bearing layer identification in a complex sandstone reservoir

چکیده

Langgu Depression is a mature oil and gas exploration area with complicated lithological physical properties. The varying formation fluid, low-resistivity hydrocarbon-bearing reservoirs, non-uniform logging series greatly increase the difficulty of reservoir identification. Monte Carlo method employed to simulate neutron–gamma responses saturation influential factors. According result, new identification chart eliminating influence porosity water salinity proposed identify reservoirs in old wells. At same time, fluid factor extracted from array acoustic core measurement data sensitive development gas-bearing layers useful for wells logging. field examples show that combined improves ability works well reexamination interpretation.
